Changes In The Horizon

A bit sad to announce this, but I will no longer be hosted by mychronicles.net. Thank you Anne, for your continued and free support over the years. Now I’m off to mooch off another person, the generous Ate Sienna ;). I AM excited to announce that my new blog address will be http://pinayhekmi.pansitan.net. I like being part of a family, so there, I’m now part of the pansitan community.

Same old, same old, but hopefully something new too. Please visit me over there, as I will be posting there from here on out. Update your links, friends. I’ll soon come a-knocking on your door to remind you of my move. Thank you all for your continued patronage over the years. I’m having a house-warming party at the new place so you may want to join!

The 3 Day Birthday Celebration

This post will be long and full of news about Mina. So if you’re bored, I don’t care because I HAD THE BEST WEEKEND EVER. Bongga ni Mina, as she had a 3 day celebration to mark her actual birthday, her 1st birthday and baptismal bash, and her actual baptism. My dear, dear friends and brother from Texas all came down in full force, we had relatives driving from Arizona, and family driving in from L.A. It was busy, it was crazy, but it was so much fun.

Happy Birthday Dear Daughter!

I am so happy I get to be your Mom. It’s an honor being a Mommy to such a lovely little girl! I can’t believe it’s been one year since I gave birth to you via an unplanned C-section. Even longer since I first learned I was pregnant with you. You’ve brought us so much joy. You’ve brought me closer to my mom, your grandma, and you’re Daddy’s little princess even though he vowed he wouldn’t treat you like a girly-girl. We love you, and by the smiles and laughter you shower us with, I think we’re doing an all right job raising you so far.
